“We’ve loved staying at Rhuaglach, taking in the incredible views, walking through the woods on either side of the house and marvelling at the thought placed into its renovation- always looking forward to our return each evening. We discovered so much- the amazing geology of repeating ridges and valleys we walked through with their wide range of mosses and lichens, and also the incredible variety of seaweeds on the shoreline, which all makes this corner of the world a geographers paradise.” – Amanda Rees and family, Columbus, Georgia, USA.   July 2019.

“Thank you Mike and Daphne for another week in this lovely place. We stayed here in mid-winter 2017 and now in mid-summer 2019 and the house is perfect in every season. Here at the house we have seen deer, red squirrels and after visiting Scotland for 30 years we finally saw a pine marten.” – Wendy and Chris Edens, Kircubbin, N. Ireland.   June 2019.

“This is our third stay here and every time we are amazed by how relaxing it is.We walked the Crinan Trail and also had a lovely sunny afternoon sitting outside on the benches. The kids love the swing and climbing the trees. We hope to return for many years to come.Just fantastic.” – The McLaren family, Strathaven.  September 2019
